Labels:text | screenshot | font OCR: NITIAL TEST If you are a beginning typist and are not familiar with the layout of the keyboard, click the Esc=Cancel key to go on to Lesson #1. If you are not a beginner please read the following before beginning this test. The timer for the test begins after you type the first letter. The purpose of this test is to enable Expert Typing to design a typing program that will best meet your needs and capabilities. It will also allow you to monitor your progress from the onset. During the test, the active letter to be typed will be a different color than the rest of the test. Be sure to keep your eyes on the screen rather than the keyboard. When you get to the end of the line, the computer will automatically place you on the next line just as most word-processing programs would do. If you make a mistake you will hear a beep.
